  8. The Median filter cleans up ‚Äúsalt and pepper‚Äù or ‚Äúshot‚Äù noise. It can get rid of scratches and dust present in clips taken from film, and can reduce video noise and static. Unlike blurring filters, it doesn't effect non-noise as drastically, and keeps blurring to a minimum.
